Add Toenail Reconstruction to your pedicure
If part of your toenail is damaged or missing, reconstruction can be added to your pedicure. We’ll first look at the natural nail, and if it’s suitable, rebuild the missing area with NanoFlex.
When toenail reconstruction may help
Toenail reconstruction can replace a missing part of the nail and improve its shape while the natural nail grows back.
- Partial loss of the nail after mechanical trauma
- A missing or damaged corner of the toenail
- An uneven or damaged free edge
- Cosmetic changes as the natural nail grows back
How it works
We first check whether the remaining natural nail can safely hold the material. Loose or damaged nail is not simply covered or glued back into place.
Assess
We check the natural nail to make sure reconstruction is a good option.
Prepare
Loose or lifted nail is removed as needed, then the remaining nail is cleaned and prepared.
Rebuild
NanoFlex is used to rebuild the missing area of the nail.
Refine
The reconstructed area is shaped thin so it blends with the natural nail.
Why we use NanoFlex
NanoFlex is a flexible UV/LED material designed for toenail reconstruction. Unlike a rigid conventional gel, it can flex with the toe and is used to rebuild a missing area without creating an unnecessarily thick result.
Reconstruction is cosmetic and NanoFlex is applied only when the condition of the natural nail is suitable for material application.

Each reconstruction is shaped to follow the natural nail and can then be finished as part of the booked pedicure.
When reconstruction is not appropriate
Toenail reconstruction is cosmetic, non-medical care. We do not diagnose or treat nail or skin conditions.
We check the nail before starting. If the material cannot be used safely, we may not be able to do the reconstruction even if it was added to your appointment.
Protecting the natural nail comes first.
Signs of infection
We do not reconstruct a nail when fungal or bacterial infection is suspected.
Inflammation or damaged skin
Open or inflamed skin may mean the service needs to wait.
Natural nail regrowth
We may recommend waiting if material could stress the nail as it grows back.
Medical evaluation may be needed
If the nail looks concerning, we may ask you to have it checked by a medical professional first.
